UCRF or AAUP award funded travel

Remember that this application is with the Univ of Conn Research Foundation - Not UConn Travel

Timing - application are required 30 days (or more) before the trip

The process:

  • Apply online at www.rac.uconn.edu/
  • UCRF will send you a preliminary award acknowledging receipt of email
  • UCRF will then send an official award notification via email.
  • We do not require the award letter with a E-TIF but keep in mind that you may only use award funding on a E-TIF if you have received the award letter, not just applied for it.
  • If the E-TIF has been processed and you receive the award letter after the fact, see "adjustments to accounts".
  • Attach award letter to all travel reimbursements for travel within the continental US.
  • Be sure when using the award funding to follow exactly as it was awarded (air, per diem etc)
